Jenny Hadland & Co Ltd

Jenny Hadland & Co Ltd are a team of fully qualified equine physiotherapists providing treatment to horses throughout Surrey, Sussex, Hampshire, Berkshire and Kent.  All physiotherapists within the company work in the same way having received specialist training in both Physiotherapy and Manipulation from Jenny. At Jenny Hadland & Co Ltd, we all work very closely as a team, consulting together on complex cases as required. 

Meet The Team

Director and Equine Physiotherapist

Jenny founded the company in 1987 after completing a physiotherapy degree at Guys Hospital London. She then completed a chiropractic and cyriax diplomas to consolidate her manipulation techniques. And has now worked within the industry for 35+ years. Jenny has a particular interest in biomechanics, gait assessment and manipulation, all of which she has put to good use in her treatment of horses. Previously Jenny has competed her own horses to Intermediate level in eventing, showjumping and dressage and has been around horses all her life. 

In Jenny’s spare time she enjoys playing competitive tennis and walking her four border collies in the beautiful Hampshire hills. 

Millie Hawe BSc (Hons) MRAMP

Equine Physiotherapist

Millie joined the practice working full time, in July 2023 after achieving a first class honours degree in Veterinary Physiotherapy at Harper Adams University. Growing up Millie has been around horses, riding and working in various yards, developing and enhancing her interest and passion in the care of horses. During her studies she completed a years working placement alongside Jenny, where she gained invaluable experience in the equine industry. Millie’s main interest is the equine back and how performance and movement can be affected by back pain; with her published dissertation analysing the success of the hwave machine in treating equine back pain. 

When Millie is not treating horses, she enjoys walking her dogs, running and spending time in the countryside.

Katie Grant

Office Administrator

Katie has been with the company since 2016, initially helping behind the scenes in the office handling the accounts to keep the company running smoothly. Katie has now progressed to practice manager; splitting her time between the office and working as a technician along side Jenny. 

Katie enjoys spending time with her family, her dog Leia and her horse Tia.
